Later in the story Andrew meets a friend named Steve. He tells Steve how Jesus had once saved an accused adultress from stoning. Inspired by the example of Jesus, Steve soon leaps upon the opportunity to save another woman from a similar situation.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
